What's in a Munch?

It’s my own Rating system. I’m terribly honest (even brutal to myself) and have rated my own recipes and how other people’s recipes have turned out with my own system. These same values also apply to Restaurants/Cafes/Street Food/Food Trucks that I visit.

NibbleMeh, not worth the Munch. (fortunately I have not failed to this point yet but one place I’ve eaten in was so unimpressive I couldn’t give it a higher value)

Munch – Everyday Tasty. This is does not mean it’s bad it’s absolutely enjoyable, but not in a knock thou socks off kinda way.

Munch Munch – Delightful, will make this recipe to make again and again or swing by the restaurant ’til I am on a first name basis with my faves.

Munch Munch Munch – The Holy Grail for taste buds. I can hear those coconut shells now. Sometimes it’s not the most fanciest of recipes or restaurants it’s just when everything sings and you can’t help but close your eyes to somehow enjoy the flavours that little bit more. 

As with my own cooking I believe there is always room for improvement so I encourage you to taste what I’ve done and feel free to go ahead and improvise to make it something more personal for your dinner table.

With the restaurants I try to be as fair as possible. I worked in the hospitality industry whilst I was studying at University, so I understand that many elements go into creating what ends up on the plate.
